Hello! I was wondering what the prices are for a mountain series? I just saw a video on YouTube. I’m in nursing school and I finish in 8 months and I am looking for something 4 season for full time travel nursing. I was wondering what the max amount of solar would be, and if you offer composting toilets or incinerator toilets? Do they come with inverters? I would love one with a big battery bank, the wood stove, and an incinerator or composting toilet. I have time but this is right up there with Outdoors RV for my usage. Amazing product!
Hi Aria, We actually had one of our camps that a couple of traveling nurses lived in for three years up in Fairbanks Alaska and did very well. As far as pricing we would need to talk with you and see what your needs and wants are. The different toilet options are not a problem, but they all have their pros and cons, this is something that we would want to discuss with you. Also, its not really about how much solar we can install its more about keeping a balance between solar and battery bank capacity. If you would like to give us a call we could put you in contact with the traveling nurses and they could tell you about their experiance. I know that they had a few weeks that they had temperatures down to -60. lets see Outdoor RV do that.
I have a 43 foot 5th wheel. Looking for a smaller more easily towable rv. I do not know anything about these, but I really like what I see! Love the wood stove! How much do these costs? How long do they last when taken care of?
Hi Ronald, the camps are custom built and tow very well each frame, axle placement, etc. is designed for each individual build. These camps started as portable living space for men and women in the agricultural industry who live in remote areas. It is not unusual for us to see camps that where built in the in the 50s and 60s that are still being used today, day in and day out. As far as longevity with the materials and construct methods we use today compared to what they used in the 50s and 60s It wouldn’t surprise me to see a well cared for camp last 90 or more years. Give us a call and we can give you pricing based on what your needs are in a camp.
